We are deeply saddened by the tragic events that took place in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 27, 2023. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to the victims and their families during this difficult time.

Dear K-2 Parents,
Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation is partnering with the Tennessee Department of Education to provide at-home reading resources for free to all Tennessee families of K–2 children to help young learners become stronger readers.

Dear Parents,
Due to today’s severe weather forecast, MSE will dismiss all schools early today, November 29, 2022. All after-school activities, including after-care, are also cancelled. All students will be dismissed at 1:30 PM. All students must be picked up no later than 2:00 PM.

We are excited to announce that Memphis School of Excellence Elementary Cordova (MSEEC) has been named a state reward school for the 21-22 school year!

Hello Parents and Guardians,
We would love to get donations to help our students stay warm during the cold winter months. We accept coats, hats, gloves and scarves. All items can be dropped off at our front office during school hours.

Dear Parents,
Come learn how to code with us on Thursday, October 27 in our Gym between 3:15pm and 4:15pm. All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a FREE iPad Air!
