Dear MSE Families,
We are aware of Monday’s ruling by judge Waverly D. Crenshaw, Jr. of the U.S. Middle
Tennessee District Court, concerning the legislation that was signed into law regarding masking in the schools. It is Memphis School of Excellence’s utmost desire to make sure we are in compliance with the legislative requirements that are given. We make sure to review all of the legal outcomes with our legal counsel to ensure we are in compliance with state and federal laws.
Memphis School of Excellence tries to be as transparent as possible with parents with all the developments that transpire on campus on a daily basis; our school will issue updated guidance to our parents and students as necessary. As of now, we will proceed with our previous mask mandate for our students, staff, and visitors because safety for all is our top priority.
