I was born outside of Chicago, IL. I moved to Tennessee when I was 16. I attended Murray State University in Kentucky to get my degree in education. I moved to Memphis quickly after graduation to start my first teaching job. I graduated with my masters degree in math education in December 2022. I am entering into my 6th year of teaching and am so excited to be at Memphis School of Excellence again this year.  

I enjoy playing with my dogs, bowling, and watching football. My fiancé and I bowl several days a week on leagues around Memphis. We have one son named Marshall who was born in September. We have two sweet chihuahuas: Ellie Rae and Sophie and a poodle lab mix named Oakley. We are also die hard Green Bay Packers fan. GO PACK GO!
